The First
Cast Radio Show is airing its eighth season in 2009. The new
shows began airing every Saturday and Sunday morning on CKBW. Show
times are approximately 7:20 AM each Saturday and 9:15 AM each Sunday
morning following the weather. CKBW serves the southern half of Nova
Scotia through 98.1 FM, 94.5 FM Queens County and 93.1 FM Shelburne

angling information and enjoyment. At the First Cast we cover our local
fisheries, news, tournaments and all things fishing along the South
Shore. We also feature select interviews with fishery officials,
members of our local clubs covering all species, various guests sharing
information to help us fish better and safer plus weekly profiles of
our youth anglers along the South Shore.
